How does Abundance make money?Abundance Wealth Management charges two types of fees for its services: planning fees and wealth management fees. Planning Fees: Everything begins with a financial plan. Abundance charges a flat, one-time fee to create a financial plan. Wealth Management Fees: For clients who elect to have Abundance actively manage their investments, Abundance charges a fee based on a percentage of the client's total Assets Under Management (AUM). Ongoing Planning (optional). Clients can elect to pay a monthly financial planning fee for proactive, enhanced planning support (see "3. Grow the Plan" under "What is the Abundance Financial Planning Process" for more detail).

Step One: Create the PlanWhat it includes: Initial Consultation: A free, 30 - 60 minute conversation with Allison to discuss your goals and needs. You will receive a conversation recap and a custom planning quote based on this. -- DECISION -- let the Abundance team know if you would like to initiate the financial planning process. Data Gathering: A 30 minute meeting with the team to dig deeper into your financial picture. Email follow up to securely gather all relevant financial data and documents. Planning Meeting: A 90 minute meeting with Allison and the team to present your comprehensive financial plan. Follow Up Meeting: A 60 minute meeting with Allison and the team to review questions you have and ensure you fully understand all planning recommendations. What you get: A detailed, actionable financial plan. This is a blueprint the team builds to take you from where you are to where you want to be. It's highly customized based on our conversations with you and all the financial data we receive from you. All plan presentation deliverables will be emailed to you upon the conclusion of the planning meeting. All the details of your plan explained by a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®. Allison's strengths are in communication and education. She puts them to full use during your Planning Meeting to help you understand your current state and our recommendations to get you to your goals. All your questions about your plan answered by a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®. Our job isn't done until you fully understand the plan we've created and the rationale behind our recommendations. Step Two: Implement the PlanWhat it includes: Unlimited meetings and email follow up from the team in order to complete the implementation of your financial plan. There are a lot of ways this can look, and it's fully dependent on your personal plan and recommendations. Some examples of implementation actions are: setting up investment accounts, helping you create a trust, or applying for disability insurance. What you get: By the end of implementation, you will have all your plan recommendations implemented, with systems set in place to help you meet your goals.

Step Three: Grow the PlanAll clients, regardless of assets invested, get: An annual review of account performance and client goals, which includes a meeting with the Abundance Team Standard service from and communication with the Abundance Team throughout the year (significant new topics / needs may necessitate creating a new financial plan) Clients with less than $1M invested with Abundance who elect Ongoing Planning get (in addition): Iterative, proactive planning from the Abundance Team A quarterly PDF deliverable tracking client goal progress, past and upcoming actions / to do's, and comprehensive financial planning topics Personalized, proactive activity and recommendations from the Abundance Team Unlimited priority service from and communication with the Abundance Team throughout the year on both existing and new financial planning topics Clients with $1M+ invested with Abundance receive Ongoing Planning at no additional cost.

What is Abundance's asset-based fee schedule?Our asset-based fees use the schedule below. We don't like asking our clients to do complicated math, so we use what is called a flat fee schedule (as opposed to a blended fee schedule). This means your entire investment balance with Abundance will be assessed monthly using the lowest percentage fee you qualify for.
